
ORLANDO, Fla. – The outstanding performances of the College of Saint Benedict Dance Team continued as the team finished seventh in both the "Pom" and "Jazz" divisions at the Universal Dance Association's College National Championship on Sunday, Jan. 15.
The competition, which was held at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., continued a memorable season for the CSB Dance Team. The Dance Team competed in the semifinals on Saturday and advanced to the finals on Sunday where they shined with seventh place performances.
This year's Dance Team worked incredibly hard to prepare for this competition," said
Anne Sumangil, CSB Dance Team Head Coach. "We were grateful to make finals in both routines and they danced their hearts out," she said.
In the "Jazz" Division, Minnesota-Duluth captured the title while Minnesota State - Mankato won the "Pom" Division.
