MINNETONKA, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict club volleyball team finished second over the weekend at a tournament in Minnetonka, Minn. The Bennies finished the day 3-2 overall, including a trio of wins over Division II club programs.
CSB started the day with a 2-1 loss to MSU-Mankato, but the 30-25 win in the first set marked a huge milestone for the club team, which had previously lost to Mankato 2-0 on three occasions this season.
After the loss, CSB bounced back to win its next three matches, including 2-0 wins over both Minnesota-Duluth and St. Cloud State, and a 2-1 win over Bemidji State. CSB wrapped up the day with a 2-0 loss to St. Thomas, falling by scores of 25-20 in both matches.

CSB is in Mankato Sunday, April 3, for a tournament, and then hosts the Northern Club Volleyball men's and women's conference tournament April 9-10 in Claire Lynch Hall.
