ST. JOSEPH, MINN. – Sophomore Alli Voss of the College of Saint Benedict Soccer Team, who scored five points and had two-game-winning goals across two wins this week, has been named the CSB Athlete of the Week.

Voss had the game-winning goal and added an assist as CSB defeated Macalester, 2-1, on Oct. 22 at home. On Oct. 25, she also had the game-winning goal as the Bennies picked up a 3-1 win over St. Scholastica. In the two matches, she helped CSB to a 5-2 overall goal advantage while scoring two goals on just four shots, recording an assist, and totaling five points. She played in 103 minutes and had a .500 shot percentage.

A sophomore from Edina, Minn., Voss leads the MIAC in goals scored with 12 in 17 matches for a .706 per game average. She also has six game-winning goals which also leads the conference and ranks third in NCAA DIII. Voss is second in the MIAC at 1.59 points per match but has the highest total of 27 (12 goals and three assists). Voss, who ranks 11^th in shot accuracy (0.744) in NCAA DIII, also ranks third in shots on goal with 1.88 in the MIAC. In her career (35 matches/31starts), she has totaled 15 goals with 36 points and eight game-winning goals. Three times she has had two goals in the same game.

With Voss leading the way, CSB is tied for first in goals scored at 39 with a 2.294 score average, which is also second.

With the two wins, Voss has helped lead the Bennies to a 12-5 record, 8-2 in league play and a perfect 7-0 mark at home. She and her teammates have already clinched a top-three spot in the MIAC Tournament Championship, which opens on Nov. 1.
The Bennies, which has won 12 matches or more in a season for the 20^th time, close the regular season with a match against Carleton College on Saturday, Oct. 1, with the winner earning the MIAC regular season Championship.
