NORTHFIELD, Minn. – After a close win over St. Scholastica at home on Saturday, the College of Saint Benedict basketball team head on the road on Wednesday, Jan. 26 to Northfield to take on Carleton for the second time this season. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.

About the Knights
The Knights are 5-11 overall, 4-9 in conference play so far this season. The Knights' last matchup was Sunday afternoon against Concordia, which they lost by a 10-point margin, with a final score of 78-68. Jasmine Choi led the Knights by scoring 22 points in the loss and also leads the team in scoring overall, with a 13.2 points per game average.
Last Meeting
Last than one month ago on Jan. 3, the Bennies and the Knights met for their first game of their season series. A huge fourth quarter for CSB brought the Bennies to victory at home over Carleton with a score of 67-52. Carla Meyer scored 19 points and had a career-high nine rebounds in the win for the Bennies. Gabby Martin also scored 12 points.
The Storyline
The Bennies are 10-5 overall, 7-5 in the MIAC with nine games left in the season. They head into Wednesday's game with back-to-back wins over Saint Mary's and St. Scholastica, giving them two series sweeps on the season. A win over Carleton on Wednesday would give them a third straight win and third straight series sweep.
Who to Watch
Senior Madison Doran scored 20 points in the team win against St. Scholastica last Saturday. Sophomore Carla Meyer continues to lead the Bennies in scoring (13.9) and is sixth in the conference. Junior Tori Szathmary sits third in the MIAC standings for rebounds per game (7.5).
