Swimming Results
ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict swimmers won 10 of 11 events and swept the top three spots in seven events Friday evening in a MIAC dual with Hamline. The Bennies won the swimming portion of the dual 162-33 on the Hamline campus in St. Paul.

Emily Quill swept the diving events Saturday morning at SJU. She won the one-meter, 11-dive competition with a score of 382.25, and later won the three-meter, six-dive competition with a score of 231.95. First-year diver
Lauren Feder took third in the one-meter competition with a score of 311.80.

Mikayla Von Wahlde led the way with two individual wins each for the Bennies. Von Wahlde won the 50 free in 26.30 seconds, and she added a win in the 100 backstroke in a season-best time of 1:01.65. Jennings started her evening with a win in the 100 butterfly in 1:04.41, and later added a win in the 500 freestyle in 5:55.57.
Molly Johanson won the 400 IM in 4:54.36, and
Madison Slavik won the 200 free in 2:06.50. First year
Emi Wagner picked up a win in the 100 freestyle in 58.88 seconds, and
Jessica Milstroh won the 200 IM in 2:19.09.

Thea Oman, Milstroh and Wagner teamed up to win the 200 medley relay in 1:57.28, and Von Wahlde,
Caroline DiCesare,
Mary Ridgeway and Smutka won the 400 freestyle relay in 3:58.59.
Wagner also took second in the 50 free in 26.48 seconds, and Oman took third in 26.54 seconds. Milstroh also had a second-place finish on the night as she took runner-up in the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.08, while Oman finished third in 1:15.67. First year
Hannah Tatge took second in both the 200 free (2:12.22) and 500 free (6:04.83), while
Morgan Gerhardt took third in both races. She finished the 200 free in 2:16.36 and the 500 free in 6:04.96.
Ana Birklid took second in both the 400 IM (5:00.79) and 200 IM (2:20.65), and Smutka took second individually in the 100 backstroke in 1:02.72. Slavik took third in 1:04.97. Ridgeway finished second in the 100 fly in 1:06.89 while first year
Jocie Larson finished third in 1:07.00.
Julia Beck took second (1:03.28) and
Katie Brewer third (1:06.38) in the 100 free, and Johanson took third in the 200 IM in 2:23.44.
After Saturday's diving competition, Saint Benedict heads to Gustavus Saturday, Feb. 20, for a noon dual against the Gusties. The divers from both teams compete at SJU that day.
