In his 17 years at CSB, Durbin has established CSB as one of the most elite women's basketball programs in the nation.  Under his leadership, CSB has won 20 or more games in 15 seasons and posted two 28- win seasons.   He has an overall coaching record at CSB of 382-84 (.819) with a conference record of 303-55 (.846) and an overall career coaching record of 386-106 (.784).  Currently, Durbin has the 13th highest winningest percentage among active Division III coaches.

He has been honored twice as NCAA Division III National Coach of the Year (1993 and 1998), and is a four-time recipient of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Coach of the Year.  In December 2001, Durbin surpassed former University of St. Thomas coach Ted Riverso and became the MIAC winningest women's basketball coach.  Durbin is currently 14 victories shy of 400 wins for his career.

With Durbin as head coach, CSB has averaged nearly 22 wins a season for the past 17 years.  The Blazers have won or shared seven MIAC championship titles and they have also competed in the NCAA Tournament for 12 of the past 15 years, including a pair of Final Four appearances in 1992-93 and 1998-99.  During Durbin's tenure the Blazers have made three Elite Eight appearances along with six trips to the Sweet Sixteen.

**CSB Athletics Note: Since 2003, Durbin has added six more MIAC titles to his resume, along with five trips to the NCAA Tournament and two MIAC Coach of the Year honors. He heads into the 2020-21 season just three wins shy of 700, and looks to become one of just three active Division III coaches to reach the milestone and one of just six Division III coaches to hit the 700-win mark.**
