SARTELL, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict tennis team started a busy weekend with a 9-0 sweep of Minnesota-Morris Friday night in Sartell. The match is the first of three scheduled this weekend for CSB, which has a pair of neutral-site, nonconference matches on the schedule for Sunday.
"(Friday) we really excelled in some areas we have been working on," head coach
Michael Engdahl said. "We are getting much better as a team playing a complete match. That is going to be huge in every conference match this year. We have a tough schedule moving forward, and I know we are looking forward to the challenge."
All three doubles tandems won their matches 8-0 to give CSB a three-point lead heading into singles play.
Kayla McIver and
Lily Fredericks teamed up at No. 1 doubles,
