ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict soccer team is heading to Winona, Minn. on Saturday, Oct. 5 to play Saint Marys University. CSB is coming off a double overtime tie against Macalester, and is looking to continue its no-loss streak in MIAC play. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.
About the Cardinals
Saint Marys is 5-4 overall and 0-4 in MIAC play, and heads into Saturday looking for its first conference win this weekend. The Cardinals' losses come from St. Kate's, Gustavus, Augsburg and St. Olaf, and all these games were lost by one goal. Jordyn Matthews is leading the team with 10 goals. In net, Gabriella Pederson has 24 saves so far this season and has four shutouts.

The Storyline
CSB has had plenty of success this season and the team hopes to keep it going. The Cardinals are looking to get their first MIAC win of the season. Both teams went into OT in their last game, so they are both are hoping to score first and keep control of the game.
