ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – For one half of play, the College of Saint Benedict soccer team was able to keep a quick St. Kate's team at bay and off the scoreboard. CSB is now 4-6-1 overall and 3-3-1 and in sixth in the MIAC with four games left in the regular season. The Wildcats are now 6-2-2 overall and 4-1-2 and fourth in the conference.

Kendall Koenen's head.
The Wildcats took a 2-1 lead in the 58
th minute on a corner kick, and then scored twice in five minutes in the 63
rd and 68
th minutes. St. Kate's third goal came on a long run by Lauren Witte, and the fourth came on another corner kick when the Wildcats deflected the ball off the leg of a CSB defender.
Koenen had a big game in the net and kept her team in the game. She finished with 10 saves – six in the first half and four in the second. Two saves came early in the game when the Wildcats had a shot on net that she saved and kicked out, but St. Kate's got the rebound and sent another quick ball at the net, but Koenen just tipped it with her feet to keep the Wildcats off the board.
CSB appeared to score in the 73

Mara Flaherty into the back of the net, but Saint Benedict was called for offsides and the goal was waved off.
