NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Senior
Kenzie Young won three events to lead the College of Saint Benedict swimming and diving team in a MIAC dual against Carleton College Saturday afternoon.
CSB won seven events, but the Knights edged Saint Benedict 152-148 at the dual in Northfield.

Dan Eckberg said.
Young won the 200 fly, the 500 freestyle and the 200 IM Saturday. She finished the 200 fly in 2:23.66, the 500 free in 5:29.89 and the 200 IM in 2:17.49.
Lauren Christiansen and
Ashley Groebner both recorded a pair of top-two finishes for CSB. Groebner won the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.75, and she took second in the 200 breaststroke in 2:37.23. Christiansen won the 200 backstroke in 2:18.13, and finished second in the 100 backstroke in 1:04.61.
Allie Crum and
Maggie Pomerenke also picked up wins for Saint Benedict. Crum won the 1,650 freestyle in 19:56.10, and Pomerenke took first in the one-meter diving competition with a mark of 211.70.
Kristina Rudin finished her day with a trio of second-place finishes. She took second in the 50 free (25.85), 100 free (57.54) and 100 fly (1:04.07).
Mallory Jarvi took second in the three-meter diving competition in 193.05. Groebner and Rudin teamed up with Emma Rideway and
Zoe Allyson to take second in the 200 medley relay in 1:54.93, and Allyson,
Meghan Mokhtary,
Alex Benham and
Meghan Kratz took second in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:45.93.
Saint Benedict has one more dual on its schedule prior to the MIAC meet. CSB travels to Gustavus to take on the Gusties Saturday, Jan. 27.
