2018-19: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 200 IM and 100 and 200 breaststroke ... finished ninth in both the breaststroke races and 23rd in the 200 IM ... recorded career-best times in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and moved into second in school history in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.39) and third in the 200 breaststroke (2:26.10) ... part of the 200 medley relay team that swam the fifth-best time in CSB history and the seventh-best 400 medley relay time in program history ... recorded the second-best 100 IM time in CSB history at the Macalester Pentathlon ... won three events at the Roger Ahlman Invite and finished the year with six individual wins.

2017-18: Qualified for the 2018 MIAC Championships in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and 200 IM ... finished eighth in the 100 breaststroke, 10th in the 200 breaststroke and 19th in the 200 IM ... broke 1:07 for the first time in the 100 breaststroke and swam the fourth-best time in CSB history (1:06.98) ... also swam the sixth-best 200 breaststroke time in school history (2:27.64) ... also recorded career-bests in the 100 backstroke and 100 fly ... won six events throughout the season ... finished top-three in 15 events. 

2016-17: Named the team MVP at the end of the season ... qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and 200 IM ... finished sixth in the 100 breaststroke, seventh in the 200 breaststroke and 13th in the 200 IM ... swam the third-best 100 breaststroke (1:07.20) and sixth-best 200 breaststroke (2:27.67) in CSB history ... also part of the fourth-best 200 medley relay and seventh-best 400 medley relay in CSB history ... recorded 11 top-two finishes as a sophomore, including five individual wins ... finished in the top 30 in three events at the Jean Freeman Invite.

2015-16: Named the team's Rookie of the Year at the end of the season ... earned MIAC Athlete of the Week honors on Nov. 10 after her first collegiate meet ... qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and 200 individual medley ... finished in the top 25 in all three events, including eighth in the 100 breaststroke ... swam the fifth-best 100 breaststroke time in school history (1:08.16) and the seventh-best 200 breaststroke time (2:30.23) in CSB history ... also part of the second-best 200 medley relay and fourth-best 400 medley relay times in school history ... won four individual events as a first year.

High School: A 2015 graduate of Simley High School, Groebner was coached by Becca Ney. She particpated in swimming for four years and was a three-time all-conference selection. She was also voted team MVP in 2013 and 2014 and is an East Metro Conference record holder.

Personal: Daughter of Carla and Jim Groebner, Ashley and her family reside in Inver Grove Heights, Minn. She enjoys relaxing at Lake Sag, playing Mario Kart Wii and exploring CSB|SJU. She is a communication major.
