CSB athletics hands out year-end awards

ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict athletic department wrapped up the 2016-17 school year and sports seasons with its annual athletic banquet recently. CSB athletics coaches and staff recognized student-athletes for their accomplishments on the field, pool and courts, including all-conference and all-region honors, as well as for their work in the classroom.

In addition to recognizing and honoring team MVPs or all-academic winners, the department announced several of its big award winners for the year.

Sundstrom came back to earn All-MIAC in the triple jump and honorable mention in four events over the next two days, and a week later qualified for nationals in the pentathlon.
