ST. JOSEPH, Minn. -- The sixth annual College of Saint Benedict Athletics Give Day on Wednesday, Feb. 11 was a record-breaking success.
The 24-hour online giving campaign raised $132,623 — the highest total in CSB Athletics Give Day history. A total of 768 donors contributed to support of CSB's student-athletes and athletic programs, including both varsity and club teams. This year's dollar total surpassed last year's record of $112,000.
The campaign's initial goal was to reach 700 donors, a milestone that was achieved shortly after 9 p.m. The record total of dollars was reached approximately at 8 p.m.
"Thank you to everyone for making CSB Athletics Give Day 2026 such a special day," said CSB Director of Athletics
Kelly Anderson Diercks. "Our student-athletes and coaching staff are so grateful to everyone who gave and participated in this fundraising effort. The impact this is going to have on our student-athletes is truly incredible."
Give Day Numbers
Of the 768 total donors, 35% were alumni, 26% parents, 25% friends, 8% faculty/staff and 17% students (some were categorized into multiple distinctions). Nine matching gifts totaling $22,000 were also part of the CSB Athletics Give Day.
