ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – Friday night, the College of Saint Benedict tennis team picked up a tight win over St. Olaf. Saturday the tables turned for Saint Benedict, as it lost an extremely close match with Macalester 5-4 in St. Joseph.
"(Saturday's) match stings a bit because we put ourselves in a great position with the work we have put in this year," CSB head coach
Michael Engdahl said. "That being said, we have to be proud of the fact that we fought to the end and really made (Macalester) earn it. We need to regroup and really come back strong this week in practice. I am confident we will, and I know we are going to have an awesome month of tennis."
