ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict basketball team travels to Eau Claire this week for a nonconference matchup. The 7-1 Blazers will play the 4-3 University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire of the WIAC at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, in Eau Claire, Wis., in their final game before holiday break.
About Eau Claire
The Blugold head into the matchup 4-3 overall and 3-2 at home, including a 65-49 loss at Saint Mary's on Sunday. Anna Grasskamp leads Eau Claire with 11.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
Last Matchup
The last time CSB and Eau Claire played was 2010, and the Blazers won 69-58 on Nov. 16 in St. Joseph that year. Three Blazers scored 12 points in the game and the team forced 20 turnovers off 15 steals.

Saint Benedict opened the 2016-17 season with seven straight wins before 79-35 loss at No. 5 St. Thomas on Saturday. CSB looks to get back on track with a win over Eau Claire before winter break. After Tuesday's, game CSB will not play again until Dec. 29 in Washington, D.C.
