ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) group was busy trick or treating over Halloween weekend – but the student-athletes weren't out looking for candy.
Instead, the group went door-to-door collecting food for a local food pantry. When all was said and done, SAAC collected more than 100 bags of groceries that weight more than 1,000 pounds.
All of the food will be donated to the Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Cloud.
