ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – As the College of Saint Benedict's 2016 soccer season heads into the final three games of the regular season, CSB is back on the road at Hamline. The MIAC matchup will be Saturday, Oct. 22, at 1 p.m. in St. Paul.
About the Pipers
The Pipers are 9-5-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the MIAC this season. Hamline enters Saturday's game coming off of a 4-0 win at Martin Luther. Kaley Roberts and Arendje Louter lead the team with seven goals each. Amy Ramras has played all 15 games in the net and has 71 saves and allows 0.86 goals per game.
Last Year
The Blazers beat the Pipers 4-1 last season in St. Joseph. CSB scored three goals in the first ten minutes of the match. The Blazers outshot the Pipers 21-7 in total shots, and
Taylor Hedin scored twice and had one assist.

Jane Koch have been a big part of CSB's offense so far this season. Hedin is second in the MIAC with 26 points, and leads the team with 10 goals and six assists. Koch has seven goals and three assists on the season. The Blazers allow 2.03 goals against per game, and
Heather Kaluzniak has 65 saves in 14 starts in goal.
The Storyline
With just three games left in the regular season, CSB is looking to solidify itself as a MIAC Tournament contender. Saint Benedict is tied for fourth in the league and is looking to stay in the top six and earn a spot in the conference championships while facing a Hamline team that is ninth in the MIAC. Hedin and Koch have been a powerful one-two punch for CSB on offense, and the duo looks to add to their scoring total this season.
