JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict basketball team looks to get back on track Wednesday night when it travels to St. Paul for a 7 p.m. game against Macalester College. The Blazers lost a second straight game Saturday afternoon, falling to Gustavus 55-52 in a game that was close all the way through.
About the Scots: After starting their season 2-0, the Scots have won one game of their last 13 matchups. Besides a 99-50 win over North Central University last week, the Scots haven't won a game since mid-November. With an overall record of 3-12, they will be heading into this matchup looking for their first conference win.
Last Year: Last season, the Blazers finished the year with two wins over Macalester. The Blazers took a 65-40 win in their first matchup of the season as
Emily Lueck led the offense with 13 points and three assists.
Mattie Lueck also led the defense with six rebounds. In the second game of the season, the Blazers walked away with a 74-49 win.
