This Week: For the second time in five days, Saint Benedict and Augsburg will square off on the hardwood. The Blazers enter with an even 10-10 record on the season and a 7-10 mark in conference play. The Auggies, meanwhile, are identical at 10-10 overall and 7-10 against the MIAC.

About the Auggies: Augsburg's season has played out in stretches of highs and lows. Most recently they're riding a 3-1 run, which brought them back into playoff contention after a streak of five straight losses. They also have a four-game conference winning streak to their credit this season. They're led in scoring by Jill Tichy at 14.7 points per game, a mark that ranks fifth in the MIAC.  She has also made a team-best 38 three-pointers this season, sixth most in the conference. Jessica Lillquist also averages double figures with 10.0 points per game and is the team's top shooter, hitting 48% of her field goals.

Tish Alexander
Last Meeting: The two teams just met in Minneapolis on Feb. 5, with the Auggies taking a 64-56 win. Despite leading for much of the first half, the Blazers went into the break trailing by four at 64-56. The Blazers quickly regained the lead in the second, and held it as late as the 6:00 mark, but a 6-to-0 Auggie run in the final five minutes gave them the lead for good.

The Storyline: This is a must-win game for both teams if they hope to make a run to the playoffs over the final two weeks of the season. For the Blazers, not only will it put them a game up on the Auggies in the standings, it will also earn them the season split, which will be important if any tie breakers are needed after the season wraps up. Each team is currently 2.5 games behind sixth place Gustavus, with five left to go.

Who to Watch: Brianna Barrett enters the week with 949 career points, and is just 51 shy of 1,000 with five guaranteed games left. She'll need to average 10.2 the rest of the way. Tish Alexander led the Blazers with a season high 16 in their meeting on Wednesday, and was the only player to score in double figures in all three games last week. Morgan Dale has climbed to fourth in the Blazers' career rebounding list, with 634 in her career. She leads the MIAC with 11.5 per game.

Mattie Lueck v. Hamline
Last Time Out: On Saturday, the Blazers overcame 16-point deficit to tie the game in the second half, only to see host St. Olaf take the lead right back as they handed the Blazers their fourth straight loss with a 68-62 defeat. The Blazers tied the game twice in the second half, but could never pull ahead as St. Olaf evened the season series. Mattie Lueck led the way with 22 points.
