Live StatsSEATTLE, Wash. – The College of Saint Benedict basketball team is in Seattle, Wash., for a pair of games as part of the third annual Doug McArthur Classic, hosted by the University of Puget Sound. The Blazers kick off the West Coast trip against host-school Puget Sound.
The Schedule: CSB takes on Puget Sound at 8 p.m. CDT Friday, Nov. 21. The Pacific Lutheran University and Concordia College women's teams also play Friday, and there are two men's games as well.
About the Loggers: Puget Sound is 2-0 after winning the Johns Hopkins Tip-Off Touranment Nov. 15-16 in Baltimore, Md. The Loggers defeated Lynchburg 64-53 and host-school Johns Hopkins 83-54. Katy Ainslie was named tournament MVP and leads Puget Sound with 15 points per game. Emily Sheldon (11.5) and Amanda Forshay (10.0) also average double digits in scoring and Alex Noren leads the team with seven rebounds per game. Allie Wyszynski and Ainslie also average 6.5 rebounds per game, and Noren also averaged eight assists per game.
Last Meeting: This is the first time Puget Sound and the Blazers have met on the basketball court.
The Storyline: Saint Benedict is looking to gain some momentum before it opens MIAC play next week. The Blazers play a pair of nonconference games on the West Coast before hosting Concordia Wednesday, Dec. 3. CSB is looking to bounce back after a 49-39, low-scoring loss to UW-River Falls on Nov. 16. The Blazers are also hoping to come out hot after shooting just 25.9 percent from the field.

Abby Miller led the Blazers in scoring at their home Quinlivan & Hughes Tip-Off Tournament this past weekend. Lueck leads the team with 13.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game and Miller is averaging 11 points per game. Junior
Mattie Lueck is averaging six points and six rebounds per game and first year
Niki Fokken is averaging five points and a team-high seven rebounds in two games played.
Last Time Out: The Blazer defense was strong and gave up just 49 points to UW-River Falls to wrap up CSB's home tournament, but the offense struggled to hit shots. CSB shot just under 26 percent from the field in a 49-39 loss to the Falcons.
Emily Lueck and Miller each had nine points and Lueck also had five rebounds and three assists.
