About the Wildcats: Currently in fourth place in the MIAC standings, the Wildcats are coming off a sweep to St. Thomas last weekend. They rank eighth in the MIAC in scoring offense, averaging 1.93 goals per game, while their defense ranks fifth with a 2.34 goals against average. Bailey Rasmussen is their leading scoring with six goals and two assists for eight points.

Last meeting: The two teams split last season, with each team winning on the road. The Blazers opened the weekend with an impressive 3-0 shutout win over the Wildcats in St. Paul, getting to goals from Ally Nielsen along the way. The Storyline: Can the Blazers break out of their recent slump? After a 6-5 win over Concordia Wisconsin on Jan. 4, the Blazers have dropped their last four games. They were able to get shots last weekend, but were unable to turn them into goals. If they can turn the corner this weekend and get a pair of wins, they would be right back in the mix for a potential playoff spot.

Who to Watch: Stephanie Kirk (Minnetonka, Minn.) continues to lead the team in scoring with 10 points (8G/2A), a mark that ranks 22nd in the country among rookies. Her sister Allison Kirk (Minnetonka, Minn.) has found her way into the starting line-up of late, and has been one of the team's most productive players with nine shots over the last three games. Dory Johnson (Bovey, Minn.) started both games in net last weekend and had the two best games of her career, stopping a career high 33 shots on Friday, and 29 more on Saturday.
