Results

The Blazers hosted Carleton College on Saturday afternoon. With a long history of being a very strong opponent, the match stayed very competitive throughout the duration. The Blazers fell short, losing 0-9.

Carleton jumped out to a 3-0 lead in doubles off the strong play from their senior number one doubles team. The Blazers competed well, but lost too many of the important point within the games.

In singles, Megan Seipel (New London, MN, New London-Spicer) played outstanding. After dropping the first set, she rallied to win the second set and force a tie-break. She came up just short in a 10-7 loss.

Sarah Rossman also played a very strong first set and battled to 5-5 before dropping the final two games in her contest. Lauren Jones played a very strong first set as well and was sitting even at 4-4 before dropping the final two games in her match.
