Results

The Blazers played  on their home courts Wednesday April  18 against Gustavus Adolphus College. Despite continuing their strong play over the last few weeks, the Blazers lost 0-9.

In doubles play, Lauren Jones (Ogden, UT, Saint Joseph Catholic)and Megan Seipel (New London, MN, New London-Spicer) battled at the number two spot. Despite their best efforts, the pair felt short losing by a score of 8-3. Alicia Vargas (Coon Rapids, MN, Coon Rapids) and Taylor Reiner (Darwin, MN, Hutchinson) continued to play strongly but they also lost to Gustavus by a score of 8-4.

In singles play the matches were close. The final match score does not do the Blazers justice as they battled throughout the match. At three singles, Sarah Rossman (Rochester, MN, Lourdes) took on Laurel Krebsbach of Gustavus falling short with a final score of 6-3, 6-2. At five singles Alicia Vargas had the closest match, losing the first set 6-4 and the second 6-1.

The Blazers look forward to continuing regular season play as they take on Carleton on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. on their home courts.
