Tonight (Dec. 3), the Knights of Carleton will travel to St. Joseph to take on the Saint Benedict basketball team in a matchup of MIAC conference opponents. The Blazers will be looking to rebound after Gustavus came into Claire Lynch Hall on Monday to steal a win in a game the Blazers dominated until the final 10 minutes.
Carleton is 2-0 through two conference games, albeit those wins have come against two middle-of-the-road conference opponents in St. Catherine's and Bethel.

Last Time Out:
CSB: On Saturday the Blazers jumped out to an electrifying start against the Gusties, but were outscored 21-to-8 in the final 10 minutes and dropped the game 64-61. Barrett led all scorers with 19 points, while senior wing
Jamie Wollin added nine points and six rebounds off the bench, contributing to a Blazer bench that outscored their opponents 31-to-8.
About the Knights:
After dropping their first two games of the year, the Knights responded to win their next two and currently sit atop the MIAC standings, tied with five other teams that are 2-0. On Saturday senior forward Akemi Arzouman passed the 1,000 point career milestone, becoming the 11th female in Carleton history to do so, as the Knights used a come-from-behind victory to beat the Bethel Royals 60-57. The win was Carleton's second conference victory of the year, already equaling their total from a year ago.
The Storyline:
After a tough-to-swallow last minute loss to Gustavus, the Blazers will be looking to regain some momentum against a Carleton squad that won two conference games last year, but returns every single player that saw significant minutes a year ago. The key to a Blazer victory will be capitalizing off of turnovers while limiting their own. Through their first four games, the Knights have averaged 23 turnovers a game while the Blazers force slightly more than 21 a game.
