BOX SCORE
The College of Saint Benedict (3-7-2 overall, 1-2-2 MIAC) traveled to New Hampshire to take on Salve Regina University (5-3-2 overall, 3-3-1 ECAC) in their first of two road games for the weekend.
The Blazers were able to keep things even during the first period with game tying goals from senior forward
Amie Ernst and first year forward
Alli O'Brien. Unfortunately, the defense would allow two goals in the second period and two more in the third to give Salve Regina a 6-3 victory. The third goal from Saint Bens came late in the third from junior defender
Mara Kohl.
After a long break from game play, the Blazers have hopefully shaken off the rust and will be ready for their next opponent. They will face Saint Anselm College tomorrow, January 6 at 3 p.m.
