The College of Saint Benedict swimming and diving team had a duel meet with St. Cloud State University Saturday night in St. Cloud Minn. The Blazers fell to the Huskies 161-93.

The Blazers had some tough competition as they were going up against St. Cloud State who is a division II school. Hailey Schwietz won the 200 yard freestyle, she was the lone winner for the Blazers. CSB had many second place finishers Kristen Beste came in second in the 50 and 100 yard freestlye,. Ellen Dean (Bothell, WA, Henry M. Jackson) also finished second in the 200 yard IM. Along with Dean Emily Roberts (Eden Prairie, MN, Benilde-St. Margaret's) finished second in the 100 yard backstroke. Lauren Kessler (Plymouth, MN, Maple Grove) took second in the 500 yard freestyle. Maria Gathje rounds up the second place finishes in the 100 yard breaststroke.

CSB returns to the pool tomorrow in the Meet of the Saints in St. Paul Minn. at 1 pm.
