The College of Saint Benedict volleyball team (10-6 overall, 3-0 MIAC) keeps its winning streak alive with a 3-0 win over Augsburg in Minneapolis, MN this evening.
The first set began with a 5-5 tie before the Blazers inched ahead 8-6. With the help of a .360 team hitting percentage in this set, CSB strung together 9-1 and 8-3 runs to win 25-12.
The Blazers started the second set with an 8-4 lead, following with a 8-3 run to lead 16-7. A few points later, the score was 19-10 before CSB scored six consecutive points to win 25-10.
The final scoreboard started with a 10-4 Blazer lead. The Auggies hung on, bringing the score within one at 13-12. Augsburg couldn't pull ahead, and CSB continued on to win 25-21.

Amber Wortz (Fairfax, MN, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop) had 16 digs for CSB, while first-year setter
Kathyrn Gaydos (Savage, MN, Prior Lake) compiled 35 set assists. First-year outside hitter
Lexi Alm (Stacy, MN, Forest Lake) added nine kills and 12 digs. The Auggies were led by Amanda Unze and Colleen Ourada, who each had five kills.
