The College of Saint Benedict volleyball team (18-12 overall) lost a tough match to St. Olaf 3-2 in the MIAC Semifinals.  Scores of the sets were 17-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-18, and 8-15.

The three Blazer seniors led in statistics as middle blocker Calleigh Brown (Buffalo, MN, Buffalo) totaled 19 kills and right side hitter Kayli Schumacher (East Grand Forks, MN, Sacred Heart) added 15 kills while libero Amber Wortz (Fairfax, MN, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop) contributed 19 digs.  First-year setter KatKathyrn Gaydos (Savage, MN, Prior Lake) compiled 48 set assists.

The Blazers are now out of the MIAC Playoffs, but watch www.csbblazers.com to see if CSB gets a bid into the NCAA Tournament.
