The College of Saint Benedict Blazer soccer team (5-6 overall, 2-3 MIAC) fell 2-1 to conference opponent Carleton College(7-2 overall, 5-1 MIAC) in double overtime Saturday afternoon in Northfield, MN.

Colleen Bouchard (Cedar Rapids, IA, Xavier) less than five minutes into the game. Saint Benedict kept the Knights scoreless the first half, but were not able to keep the shut out going. Carleton's Leigh-Anne Borkowski put the Knights on the scoreboard six minutes into the second half on an unassisted goal. The game remained deadlocked for the remainder of the game and the first overtime. Two minutes into the second overtime, Carleton's Liz Arakaki scored for the Knights with the assist going to Sarah Hagerty.
