Back in action for their second game against Robert Morris College, the College of Saint Benedict (4-4-0 overall, 2-4-0 MIAC) was able to complete the sweep today winning 5-3. 
Scoring the most goals during a regular game all season, five Blazers were able to find the back of the net. First-year forward 
Andrea Parsons (Buffalo, MN, Buffalo) got things started for the Blazers scoring while being assisted by junior center 
Janae Coauette (Crookston, MN, Crookston). Also scoring for the team was senior forward 
Abby Milton (Maple Grove, MN, Maple Grove) and first-year forwards 
Amie Ernst (North Mankato, MN, Mankato Loyola) and 
Kerri Graske (Stillwater, MN, Stillwater Area). Robert Morris kept the game close heading into the final minutes before senior forward 
Ashley Davenport (Inver Grove Heights, MN, Simley) put the game out of reach scoring an empty net goal while being assisted by Milton. Starting in the net, first-year goaltender 
Lauren Herzog (Mendota Heights, MN, Convent of the Visitation) stopped 27 of 30 shots helping the Blazers improve their away record to 5-1.
The Blazers return home to the MAC for their next game January 16 in Saint Cloud. The team will be taking on MIAC foe Augsburg with faceoff scheduled at 7:30 pm.
