College of Saint Benedict Athletics

Alex Robbins is in his second year as the Athletic Operations Manager at the College of Saint Benedict.

Robbins, who joined the athletics staff in September 2024, is responsible for overseeing all game day operations and events at Saint Benedict in addition to assisting the athletic administration in a support role.

Prior to his time at CSB, Robbins served as an operations consultant for the Field of Dreams Movie Site and Travel Dubuque in Dyersville, Iowa. In the role, he was tasked with constructing the business plans for the new, permanent Major League Baseball stadium and youth sports complex that have recently been completed at the site.  In addition, he helped explore revenue generation and potential sponsorships for the new facilities. Before that, he spent two years as an athletic administration graduate assistant with the University of Dubuque (Iowa), a role in which he worked on athletic event management, compliance, and scheduling among other tasks. Robbins has also served as a ticketing and sales intern and baseball operations assistant with the Madison (Wis.) Mallards, a premier collegiate summer baseball team in the Northwoods League.

Robbins, who was a sportswriter from with the Mount Mercy Times, attended Mount Mercy University (Cedar Rapids, IA) from 2017-19 where he was also a member of the varsity baseball team before transferring and graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sports management and marketing in 2021 at the University of Dubuque. In 2023, he earned his Master's degree in sports management from the University of Dubuque where he was a Distinguished Graduate.  
 
A native of Hartford, Wis., Robbins now resides near Holdingford, Minn., with his wife, Lyric, and their two dogs, Apollo, an American Bulldog, and Duke, a Rottweiler/German Shepherd/Husky mix.
