Alexander Robbins is in his first year as the athletics operation manager at the College of Saint Benedict.
Robbins, who joined the staff in September, 2024, will be responsible on overseeing all game day operations and events at Saint Benedict.
Most recently Robbins served as an operations consultant for the Field of Dreams Movie Site for Travel Dubuque in Dyersville, Iowa. In the role, he was tasked with constructing the business plans for the new, permanent Major League Baseball stadium and youth sports complex that are set to be completed at the site. In addition, he helped explore revenue generation and potential sponsorship activities. He also spent two years as an athletic administration graduate assistant with the University of Dubuque (Iowa), a role in which he worked on facility management, compliance monitoring, and scheduling. Robbins has also served as a ticketing and sales intern with the Madison (Wis.) Mallards, a collegiate summer baseball team in the Northwoods League.
Robbins, who was a sportswriter from 2017-19 with the Mount Mercy Times (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), attended Mount Mercy from 2017-19 before transferring and graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sports management and marketing in 2021 at the University of Dubuque. In 2023, Robbins, who played collegiate baseball at Mount Mercy, earned his Master's degree in sports management from the University of Dubuque where he was a Distinguished Graduate. Â
