Biography


2012: Appeared in six sets for the Blazers … notched one service ace … had four digs.

2011: Career high 12 kills against Gustavus on Sept. 9 … appeared in 47 sets for Saint Benedict ... produced 65 kills and 10 service aces … had 27 digs … notched 23 blocks.

2010: Bassett appeared in all 110 sets for CSB.  She contributed 207 kills and was second for CSB with a .192 hitting percentage.  She led the Blazers with 28 services aces and contributed 87 blocks, 69 digs, and seven set assists.  Bassett had a career-high 11 kills on September 15 against Hamline and on September 22 against Bethel.

2009: Bassett appeared in 25 sets for the Blazers. She totaled 12 kills on 42 attempts for a .214 hitting percentage.  She added 13 blocks for CSB.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Eagan High School, Bassett participated in volleyball (four years) and track (three years).  She was named All-Conference Honorable Mention in volleyball in 2008.

Personal: Bassett is the daughter of Kathy and Tony Bassett of Eagan, Minn.  Her parents and many relatives have attended CSB/SJU.  She enjoys traveling, boating, playing piano, camping and spending time with family and friends.  She is majoring in communication with a minor in nutrition.
