High School: A 2015 graduate of Lakeville South High School, Barta played volleyball for five years and participated in track and field for one year. She earned all-conference honorable mention honors once in her volleyball career, and helped her team make it to the section finals.
Personal: Barta is the daughter of Jennifer and Terry Barta and she has one sister, Rachel. She enjoys volleyball and painting and plans to major in chemistry with a minor in Hispanic studies at CSB|SJU.
