2022-23: Competed in 8 matches as a first year... recorded 12 kills; career-high in a single game with 8 kills against UW-Eau Claire on Sept. 16... recorded 9 digs... finished the season with 2 total blocks. 

High School: Werner is a 2022 graduate from Linn-Mar High School in Iowa. While in school she played four seasons of volleyball and one season of track, she was also a part of Adrenaline Volleyball Club. Her proudest moment of her career so far was making the 2022 All-Tournament Team in St. Louis during the Presidents Day Tournament.

Personal: Lauren is the daughter of Liz Werner and Scott Werner; she has one sibling, Brooke. In her free time, she likes boating, hanging out with friends, playing with her dogs, listening to music, and reading. While at CSB Lauren will be majoring in Psychology on the Pre-Optometry track with a minor in Environmental Science. She is looking forward to being a collegiate student athlete because it will push her to be her best both on the court and in the classroom.
