2022-23: Competed in 8 matches as a first year... recorded 4 kills... finished the season with 3 digs. 

High School: Schmidt is a 2022 graduate from Champlin Park High School in Minnesota. While in school she played volleyball for four seasons as well as playing club volleyball. In 2020 she was named All-Conference Honorable Mention. The proudest moment of her career so far has been beating Rogers in five sets during the Conference Championships with her high school team.

Personal: Ellie is the daughter of Amy and Rowdy Schmidt; she has two siblings Will and Emma. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, hammocking, baking, hiking, and going on walks. While at CSB Ellie will be majoring in Global Business Leadership. She is looking forward to being a collegiate student athlete and creating many new friendships.
