College of Saint Benedict

2020-21: Did not compete as a first year in a season that was shortened and played in Spring 2021 due to the COVID19 pandemic.

High School: Schmaltz is a 2020 graduate of Eden Valley-Watkins where she participated in volleyball for four years and golf and softball for two. She earned all-conference volleyball honors each year from 2017-19, and also competed on the Fusion Volleyball club team. Her proudest moment was having the most aces in the conference her junior and senior year.
 
Personal: Schmaltz is the daughter of Bonnie Spohn and Colin Schmaltz, and she has two siblings. She enjoys boating, sports and playing with her dogs, and plans to major in sociology. She is looking forward to staying active, meeting new people and continuing to play the sport she loves.
