Liz Schultz returns for her second season as an assistant with the CSB volleyball team in 2020. She re-joined the program as a coach in 2019 after four successful seasons competing with the program from 2015-18.

In her first season with the CSB coaching staff, Schultz was part of the team's NCAA Regional Championship and Elite 8 appearance. The Bennies finished the year 26-6 overall and 8-3 in the MIAC.

Schultz was a three-year starter at outside hitter for Saint Benedict, and was one of the team's top hitters each of those three seasons. She led the team in service aces as a junior and a senior, and finished with 230 or more kills her sophomore through senior seasons. Schultz played all the way around, and also finished second on the team in digs as both a junior and senior. She finished her career with 788 kills, 495 digs, 87 service aces and 65 total blocks.

Schultz - who was named to the All-MIAC Sportsmanship Team as a senior - is an Alexandria native and graduated from CSB in 2019 with a degree in nutrition.
