High School: A 2011 graduate of Babbitt-Embarrass High School, Rykken was coached by Misty Roseth. She participated in volleyball (four years), hockey (four years) and softball (four years) during her athletic career. Along with receiving All-State Honorable Mention honors, Rykken earned several All-Conference appearances. She also serves as captain on all three teams.
Personal: Rykken is the daughter of Beth and Ron Rykken of Babbitt, Minn. She enjoys sports, being on the lake and spending time with family and friends. She is majoring in management.
