2009-10: Ernst played in 24 games for the Blazers and finished with nine points off of six goals and three assists. She recorded one game winning goal.

2008-09: Ernst appeared in all 20 games for the Blazers. She is a fast and tough competitor who finished first on the team in total points with 15. Ernst finished 11th in the conference in goals scored with 10. She netted five assists and scored her first colligate goal in an overtime win vs. Wisconsin-Superior on November 4th. Ernst finished a fantastic first season with being selected to the MIAC All-Rookie team.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Mankato Loyola High School, Ernst was coached by Marci Bydlon and participated in hockey (five years), track (five years), cross country (one year) and soccer (one year) during her athletic career at Mankato Loyola. She is a three time all-GOPHER conference and one year honorable mention selection in track. Ernst was named all-conference in hockey and was a member of the Minnesota Thoroughbreds her last two years in high school.

Personal: Ernst is the daughter of Lynda and Bo Ernst of North Mankato, MN. She has relatives that attended SJU and enjoys spending time at the cabin, the outdoors, making candles, reading and being with friends. Ernst is majoring in Psychology.

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete?
“I like being a student-athlete because of all the people I am able to meet and everyone I meet has similar goals. I also like staying in shape and working toward success.”

What is your proudest moment of your ice hockey career?
"Making the All-Rookie MIAC team last year and growing as a player and a person throughout my 12 year career.”
