Samantha Richardson-Season-Career Results
2024: INDOOR: Competed in four meets, recording three top-eight finishes … set a career-best in the 400 with a time of 1.11.02 at the CSB/SJU Alumni Meet, finishing in 4
th place … took 8
th place in the 60H with a time of 11.47 at the CSB/SJU Alumni Meet … set a career-best in the 200 at the CSB/SJU Invitational with a time of 30.16 … recorded a career-best in the 60H with a time of 10.83 at the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic.
High School: A 2023 graduate of Monticello High School, Richardson participated in soccer for eight years, track and field for five years and cross country for one year. She earned Academic Honors for all sports from 2020-2023. Richardson also lettered in Track and Field from 2020-2023 and in Cross Country in 2023. The proudest moment in her track and field career was having her team win state two years in a row during her junior and senior year.
Personal: The daughter of Shannon and Timothy Richardson, Samantha has one sibling named Ryan. In her free time, she likes to read, snowboard, and watch movies. Samantha is a Biology major with a minor in Hispanic Studies at CSB. She likes being a collegiate student-athlete because she enjoys the structure and organization that being a student-athlete brings to her life.
