2018: INDOOR: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 600, 800 and with the distance medley relay team ... took eighth in the 800 and with the DMR ... won the 800 at the CSB/SJU Invite and CSB/SJU Alumni meet ... OUTDOOR: qualified for the conference meet in the 800 and 3,200-meter relay ... finished eighth in the 800 ... took seventh with the relay team ... was part of the winning 1,600-meter relay team at Concordia.

High School: A 2014 graduate of Eden Prairie High School, Dengel participated in both cross country and track and field for four years and Nordic skiing for two years. She broke the school record in the 800-meter run, and was named the most valuable track and field athlete as a junior and senior. Dengel was the track captain as a senior, and was a finalist for the Golden Eagle Award that same year. She earned academic all-state honors as a junior and senior.
Personal: Dengel is the daughter of Jana and Don Dengel of Eden Prairie, Minn., and she has a sister, Maya. Her mom and uncle both attended CSB|SJU. Dengel enjoys reading and dancing and is a natural science and pre-physical therapy double major with a Hispanic studies minor. Dengel also competes on the Blazer cross country.
