Biography

2017: INDOOR ... competed in three meets as a junior ... finished in the top 10 in each event she competed in ... took second in the 60 hurdles at the CSB|SJU Alum Meet ... OUTDOOR ... competed in two meets in a season shortened due to injury.

2016: INDOOR ... qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 55 hurdles and as part of the 800 relay ... earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention in both ... took fourth in the 55 hurdles and sixth with the relay team ... ran the second-best 55 hurdle time in school history (8.65) at the conference meet ... won the 60 hurdles at both St. Olaf and the Alumnae Meet ... OUTDOOR ... took second four times ... ran the 400 hurdles for the first time ... competed in three meets.

2015: First year ... INDOOR ... earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention after taking fifth in the 60 hurdles ... also earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention as part of the 800 relay that finished third ... ran the third-best 60 hurdle time in school history ... finished the season ranked sixth in the MIAC ... ran a career-best 8.41 in the 60-meter dash and 9.24 in the 60 hurdles ... OUTDOOR ... qualified for the MIAC Outdoor Championships in the 100 hurdles ... recorded the third-fastest time in school history and finished the year ranked sixth in the MIAC in 60 hurdles ... ran career-bests in the 200 (27.12) and 100 hurdles (15.33).

High School: A 2014 graduate of Chaska High School, Frier participated in both soccer and track and field for four years. She was named her school’s 2014 track and field female athlete of the year, won two section and conference titles and set one school record and one Missota Conference record. She also won two conference, section and all-state titles in 2013, earned all-conference honorable mention and set one school record. In 2011, Frier earned two all-conference honorable mention honors. She also earned all-conference honorable mention in soccer as a senior.

Personal: Frier is the daughter of Patty and Mark Frier of Chaska, Minn. She has one sister, Stephanie, and she enjoys traveling, movies and running. Frier is undecided on a major.
