2019-20: Played in 16 games as a sophomore ... averaged more than 21 minutes per game ... recorded a career-best five assists on Feb. 4 against Concordia ... scored a season-best 11 points twice against both Morris and UW-Superior ... pulled down a season-best five rebounds against Bethel ... averaged 6.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per game ... earned Academic All-MIAC honors.

2018-19: Named to the All-MIAC First Year Team ... appeared in 26 games, including three starts ... averaged 21.6 minutes per game ... grabbed 45 defensive rebounds and 74 total rebounds ... finished the season with 199 points ... had 26 steals ... averaged 7.7 points per game. 

High School: McKenzie is a 2018 graduate of New Prague High School. She participated in tennis for three years, basketball for five years, and track for five years. She earned all-conference basketball honors in 2018 and all-conference honorable mention tennis accolades in 2017. She also earned Academic All-State (2014-16) and all-conference (2016) for track. Her proudest moment has been all the games/matches/meets that she has worked as a team to win. For basketball she was most proud to lead her team as a captain and be looked upon by her teammates.

Personal: McKenzie is the daughter of Dan and Julie Holgate. She has one brother, Alex, who attended CSB/SJU as well. Her hobbies are playing sports, being active, traveling, and hanging with friends. Holgate plans to go into elementary education. Holgate is excited to stay active and continue her basketball career at a new level.
