High School: A 2011 graduate of Litchfield High School, Black was coached by Matt Draeger and participated in tennis (four years), hockey (four years), and golf (four years) during her athletic career at Litchfield. Black is a three-time state tournament participant in tennis and received All-Conference honors in 2009 and 2010. She is an individual section champion and was named captain of the tennis team her junior and senior years. Black is a three time Academic All-Conference. She was named team MVP twice in hockey, as well as being named team captain. She received All-Conference honors and was All-State Academic her senior year. Black is a state tournament participant in golf and received All-Conference two years.
Personal: Black is the daughter of Mary and Steve Black of Litchfield, Minn. She enjoys tennis, hockey, golf, and spending time with friends. Black is majoring in biology.
