High School: Boettcher is a 2019 graduate from Marshall High School where she played hockey for six years, softball for three years, and tennis for five years. Her accomplishments include Academic All-State hockey (2019) and tennis (2018), a Lake Superior Conference championship in hockey (2018) and tennis (2015, 2016, 2018) and Lake Superior All-Conference First Team Doubles honors from 2017-19. The proudest moment of her career was winning her first individual sections fame with her doubles partner in 2016. The match was roughly four hours long and they were playing one of the bests doubles teams in the area.
 
Personal: Claire is the daughter of Amy Boettcher and has three siblings: Lauren, Olivia, and Meredith. When she is not playing tennis, she enjoys playing hockey, softball, and being outdoors. She looks forward to being a student-athlete at CSB and pushing herself to be the best version both on the court and in the classroom. She will be majoring in history and political science.
