2019-20: Competed in five meets as a junior before studying abroad in the spring ... finished the season with three top-10 finishes.

2018-19: Competed in 10 meets for CSB as a sophomore ... recorded five career-best times at the UST Conference Invite ... recorded the 10th-best 100 IM time in program history at the UST Conference Invite ... recorded 15 top-10 finishes, including two fourth-place finishes at UST.

2017-18: Competed in 10 meets for CSB as a first year ... recorded 12 top-10 finishes ... had best finish against Hamline when she finished second in the 200 IM.

High School: Mattson is a 2017 graduate of Mesabi East High School. She skied for two years, played three years of basketball, four years of softball, and swam four years. She received all-state academic awards her junior and senior years, and all-section and All-American Academic awards her senior year. Her proudest moment is achieving a personal goal and medaling in the 200 IM.

Personal: Ashlynn is the daughter of Yvonne Mattson. She has one brother, Evan. She enjoys travelling, being outdoors, and volunteering in her free time. She likes being a collegiate student-athlete because of the lifelong friendships and connections that are made. She is in elementary education major at CSB/SJU.
