2019: Earned CoSIDA Academic All-District accolades ... named the team's Midfielder of the Year for the second year in a row ... played 18 of 19 games ... played a career-high 987 minutes ...scored two goals and finished her senior year with a career-high three assists ... finished the year with 17 shots, including nine on net ... part of a defense that finished the year with six shutouts.

2018: Earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention ... named the team's Midfielder of the Year ... started 12 of 16 games ... scored two goals - one against Concordia and one in a tie with Bethel ... recorded one assist ... finished the year with 18 shots, including 12 on net ... recorded five points.

2017: Started three of 15 games ... scored two goals and recorded one assist ... finished the year with 11 shots, including five on net ... recorded five points ... scored the first goal of her collegiate career Sept. 20 against Augsburg.

2016: Started one game for CSB as a first year before missing the rest of the season due to injury.

High School: A 2016 graduate of Eagan High School, Sherek played soccer for four years. She was part of the 2014 South Suburban Conference Championship team. Her high school soccer team won the Minnesota State AA Championship in 2014 and 2015. Sherek was the 2014 and 2015 Captain for the soccer team. In 2014 and 2015, she received State Conference Honorable Mention honors.

Personal: Sydney is the daughter of Kristine and Thomas Sherek. She has one brother, Nickolas. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, boating and being outdoors. While at CSB|SJU, Sherek is majoring in biology with a Hispanic studies minor.
