2017: Started eight of 16 games ... scored one goal and recorded one assist ... finished the year with 26 shots, including 14 on net ... recorded three points ... scored the first goal of her CSB career on Oct. 21 against Hamline.

Previous School: Schorzman played one year of collegiate soccer at Division II Augustana (S.D.). She started in five games and played in 11, and finished the year with two goals and one assist.

High School: Schorzman is a 2016 graduate of Hastings High School where she played four years of soccer, five years of basketball and ran one year of track. In soccer, she received one all-conference honorable mention award, three all-conference awards (2013, 2014, 2015), two all-section honors (2014 and 2015) and one all-state award (2016). The proudest moment of her soccer career is being honored with all-state her senior year.

Personal: Sam is the daughter of Kevin and Angie Schorzman. She has one brother, Alex. She loves adventuring and says her teammates are the best part of being a collegiate athlete. She plans to major in biology (pre-PA) and minor in psychology while at CSB/SJU.
