2019: Earned Third Team All-American and All North-Region First Team honors as a junior ... named the MIAC Offensive Player of the Year ... won Team MVP and Team Offensive Player of the Year honors ... earned CoSIDA Academic All-District and United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region First Team honors ... named MIAC Athlete of the Week three times ... set the school record with 18 goals in a season and came one point shy of tying the record for points in a season with 41 ... finished tied for first in the MIAC in goals and second in points ... finished third in Division III with nine game-winning goals ... started all 19 games this season ... also recorded five assists ... finished the year with 86 shots, including 60 on net.

High School: Thompson is a 2017 graduate of the Academy of Holy Angels where she played four years of soccer and basketball. In soccer, she earned second team all-conference (2015), first team all-conference (2016), first team all-state (2016), and the team's Most Valuable Player Award (2016). The proudest moment of her soccer career is participating in the high school state tournament in 2015.

Personal: Megan is the daughter Robert and Jennifer Thompson. She has one sister, Emma, and one brother, Bobby. She enjoys keeping busy and staying productive in her academics by balancing her schedule with athletics. She is a biology major on a pre-PA track at CSB/SJU.
